‘Dastarkhwan’ takes you to an elite table set up of a festive evening where heritage is the first invitee. An exquisite table collection consisting the table linen as well as fine dine with a rustic touch of ceramic pottery to serve you nothing but a fine dine experience. 

It talks about the lanes of Sindh in the late 1880s and the influence of The silk route in the Sindh-Mughal regions.

 The silk route may have been used as a business exchange but sure it gave the middle-Eastern belt an unmatched blend of the cultural from cuisuines to textiles. 
Dastarkhwan is a celebration of the union of both with royalty playing the lead role.

Design process

All departments work closely and in sync for the design process, which includes activities like forecasting, range planning, 
sampling etc. The design team plays an integral part in 
communicating between the various people in the organization. It works along with the merchandisers to come up with the best 
designs. The have a great deal of knowledge about the market trends, price points etc.

Strategizing

It includes- Setting up of themes, planning the ranges, color 
stories etc. Targets are set to achieve the best results within 
specific time period.

Research

This phase usually entails taking into account competitors, market trends, product/service differentiators, the history of the brand, and the future of it as well. The research could be based on a lot of factors- price points, its customer/consumer, the 
direction in which the brand has decided to work and the 
setting of the color palette.

Forcast

Forecasting and trend-analysis is done for the season by also keeping in mind the aesthetic of the brand. It is used to 
forecast market trends, sales growth, inventory levels and 
interest rates.

Inspiration

How easy it must be to draw inspiration of heritage from a vivid continent like Asia, and then the Middle-eastern belt is a cherry on top.

Essence of the collection

‘Aamer’ recites it’s own tale through intricate motifs from the Amer fort of Jaipur. This cushion  collection is an epitome of everyday luxury living. A mixture of varieties of surface techniques ,the real essence of the collection is the beautiful hand block printing.

The whole collection consists of 13 cushions of variety of sizes and surface techniques to create a visual balance

Forcast

A U T U M N // W I N T E R  21'

- Mills take embroidery pattern inspiration from traditional wood blocks and oversized geometrics with an element of culture-mixing. They embrace an imperfect feel by adopting rustic textures.

-Color is season less, leaning toward an earthy palette of chalky 
terracotta, browns, oranges and stone.

- Consider blending with cotton fibers, with naturally occurring colors coming from tan, red, green and brown pigments that avoid the need for dyeing and use less water.
